2018 Bridge Information

The Flood

February 20th, 2018 we recieved a vast amount of rain that flooded Spring Brook Creek. The flood damaged the base of the bridge on Hole #1, buckled the bridge on Hole #2, & completely removed the bridge on Hole #6 carrying it 100 yards down the creek.

In early March, the City of Janesville Parks Department along with Blackhawk employees began removing all the sand that was deposited over Hole #6 by the truckload. All together, it took a team of hardworking individuals, two bike path sweepers, & 10 truckloads to remove all 200 yards of sand.

Course Route

Currently we are starting guests on Hole #3. Guests will continue to play holes in order up to Hole #9. After finishing Hole #9 guests will then head to play Holes #1 & #2 to complete his/her round.

Anytime a player needs to cross the creek, please use the bridge on Hole #6 or Hole #9 to get across.

Please be aware of other golfers crossing the bridge & other golfers playing.

We apologize for the inconvenience and ask you to please "Think Safety First"

Where we are right now/Construction: Updated September 10th, 2018

Construction began in Early August on Hole #6's Bridge, Hole #6's Bridge is now complete and ready for play!

Blackhawk will continue to start on Hole #3 until the bridge on Hole #2 is complete. Bridge repair for Hole #1 & #2 are scheduled to begin in Fall.

Again we apologize for the delay and inconvenience the lack of open bridges has caused this year.
